Finance Manager

We are seeking a Finance Manager with the ability to work independently and with a team with a results-driven attitude. Ideal candidate must have an analytical mind, top notch negotiation skills, and the ability to develop strong working relationships.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

  • Manage the month-end close process, review all journal entries, audit workflow while ensuring all accounting transactions are processed accurately, and review account reconciliations
  • Update accounting, internal control policies, procedures and guidelines to ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards
  • Implement system controls while ensuring data integrity, including oversight of all account reconciliations and analysis; identify and report the key or significant transactions of each accounting period
  • Report to management and stakeholders, and advise how the company and future business decisions might be impacted
  • Produce financial reports related to budgets, account payables, account receivables, expenses etc.
  • Prepare monthly executive reports and updates; prepare monthly and annual financial statements
  • Develop long-term business plans based on these reports
  • Review, monitor, and manage budgets
  • Develop strategies that work to minimize financial risk
  • Collect, interpret, and review financial information
  • Predict future financial trends
  • Analyze market trends and competitors
  • Manage the year-end external audit process, coordinate with Financial controller with the preparation of documentation


Qualifications:

  • University degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business-related discipline
  • A minimum of 5 years of leadership and related work experience
  • Strong communication skills, verbal, and written
  • A positive leader who believes in developing others
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and deliver accurate product
  • Commercial and business awareness
  • A keen eye for detail and desire to probe further into data
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Highly efficient in using MS Office Suite programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
