Media Sales Specialist

Our client, an advertising agency in Toronto, is seeking a Media Sales Specialist with a strong background  in selling into different industries locally and nationally.  

This is a great opportunity, if you are:

A go-getter who is skilled in establishing new client relationships, with local and national brands
Experienced in selling into a multitude of mediums Digital, Print, Ad Buy and other advertising space 

Qualifications: 

  • 3 plus years of experience in identifying potential clients by placing cold calls, sending out emails, or following up on inquiries.  
  • Proven ability to meet with potential clients and present agency’s advertising services. This could include showing sample advertisements, an explanation of the places the advertisement could appear, and a summary of how much the ad campaign would cost.  
  • Experienced in maintaining their current client relationships by keeping in regular contact with them and making sure they are pleased with the advertising service.  

Experienced with selling advertising space in the print or online editions of newspapers and  magazines or on-air commercial space between television programming. Some other duties of  advertising sales representatives could include writing up new contracts, getting approval on  advertisement drafts, preparing media kits, and answering client questions.
