Media Sales Executive

Our client, a reputable Print and Digital Magazine Publisher in Toronto is seeking an experienced Print & Digital Sales Executive to join the team. This sales superstar will work to actively build our client base without territorial restrictions across Canada.

Then it is a perfect opportunity for you. The successful candidate will be familiar with print and digital media advertising, along with Canadian Marketing & Advertising experience. The position will be supported by qualified leads, marketing, in-house administrative, graphic design, and communications staff. 

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Actively calling prospects and close deals  
  • Effectively responding to inbound lead for closing 
  • Researching and prospecting a multitude of industries for advertising opportunities  
  • Consistently in pursuit of new business opportunities to achieve weekly and monthly targets
  • Adept at customizing advertising opportunities to match different prospects
  • Able to make 50-prospecting calls with emails presentations daily 
  • Able to schedule in-person or Zoom appointment for presenting and closing 

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of selling to a local or national marketplace
  • Comfortable with direct selling of low digital advertisement and high-end print products  
  • Possesses a superior understanding of marketing technology, social networks, and the ability to learn quickly when necessary
  • Manage the full sales process, from lead generation to closing, to medium size and large corporation 
  • Take pride, ownership, and accountability in their duties and maintains a winning attitude
  • Enthusiastic contributor to company culture, growth, and a collaborative environment
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with key decision-makers, and possesses the know-how to identify and influence successful outcomes
  • Highly organized, able to multitask efficiently and tackle tight deadlines with composure
  • Post-secondary education in advertising, media, or a related field
  • Previous Call Center with cold calling experience a bonus 

This position pays a base plus commission based on experience. GTA Marketing is open without restrictions or income limits.
