Staffing Account Manager

We are currently seeking a mature and highly driven staffing manager with a proven track record of relationship-building and business development within a staffing agency.


Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Foster and build relationships with key decision-makers to establish new accounts and manage existing accounts
  • Oversee the recruitment team, providing support and direction to generate and manage a pipeline of potential clients and candidates
  • Call and/or meet with clients in person to introduce our services and perform job intake meetings and close sales
  • Communicate position requirements with recruiters to ensure a thorough understanding of job orders
  • Ensure that candidates referred to clients meet the specifications required for the position
  • Create and communicate compelling candidate summaries for clients
  • Seek, interview, assesses and place employees that fully satisfy client requirements
  • Develop and implement hiring strategies and initiatives to build a diverse team
  • Filter and schedule interviews with key managers, negotiate offers
  • Develop and attend recruitment events and source and fill the hiring funnel with strong candidates from various channels


  • 2 to 3 years of recruitment sales/account management experience with at least one year of experience in a recruitment/staffing agency
  • Target-driven with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Personable and professional demeanour with the ability to build and develop positive relationships
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
  • Exceptional understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism regarding all information processed within the department

    Job Type: Full-time

    Salary: Competitive base salary plus commission
